AVATAR is a great visual effects film. I would recommend seeing it in IMAX 3D to get the full impact of James Cameron’s vision. The film held my interest the entire time and I did not notice it was long. This was possibly because of the visual beauty and novelty. The plot was predictable. It lacked emotional impact although the potential was there. The 3D glasses made my eyes water which created tears. Once during a dialogue scene between humans, I closed my eyes to rest them.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
