Wow

They took a cartoon and made a live action movie from it. Bound to be some differences. We enjoyed it. It follows the first "book" very well. For many who never saw the cartoon, how else would they understand the characters if they weren't explained? We watched the cartoon and understood it all. Could it have been better, sure. Could have been alot worse as well. 3 stars.

Best sequel ever

Best sequel ever! Better than Iron Man. Still finds a way to grip the heart and have fun at the same time. The cast is Outstanding. Downey leads all the rest, both new and returning cast in a twisting roller coaster adventure. Paltrow steps into Potts 4" heels and makes it work. Rourke is a true villain with hidden motivations. Cheadle makes Rhodes work the way Howard (Iron Man 1) could not. Scarlett (what a great name) is sexy and smart and clever. Favreau deals us another blockbuster. You must see this movie!!

Nobody Does It Better

Depp delivers one again. Sad, evil, joyous, cautious, dangerous, and trustworthy. He hits on all eight cylinders in the role of John Dillenger. Best guy to his friends, cocky to his enemies, ladies man one at a time, and bank robber extraordinaire! He wasn't over the top, like Sparrow, but focused and intense. At the very least an Oscar nod should be coming his way.

Good as T2

At least as good as T2. Some plots line coincided with the first two movies. Kyle Reese is still a youngster. We see how JC gets his scars. Skynet got smashed just like the time traveling Reese says it does from T1. Bale is great in the role of John Connor. He still wants to believe and now he is the leader of the resistance. Bravo!

Whiners need not apply

This was fun to watch. JB being mad and hurt came though well. This will not be your father's Bond. No gadgets to take up time explaining what for and why. We get to see why Bond is who he is instead of fluff pieces. Now that Quantum has a name, MI-6 can get to the business of finding them and rooting them out. Plenty of twists and turns in this one. A better Bond for a harsh world!

Wow, More than meets expectations

What a surprise! I went to see an action flick and got way more. Comedy, Action, Romance, Sarcasm, all rolled into one movie! Big Red didn't disappoiont. Selma Blair had much more to play with in this prized sequel. As I told someone else, "I went to see an action flick and I found a love story." Good to see Father as well. It makes for a very nice tie-in to the movie's theme. I want to see #3!!

Funny, and Irreverent!!

If you like to laugh OUT LOUD, if you like a more Adult theme to your movies, then this is the movie for you! If you are easily offended, then this is not the movie for you. Adam Sandler has created another enduring character with Zohan. Yes, there's toliet humor, etc. Pretty much about everyone gets poked at in this movie. It is hilarious and if you get the jokes, then you'll have a good time. Criqui is GORGEOUS! Some of the older actors in this movie you will recognize from TV and Films. Go see it and have fun, but don't over think it.

Well Done!

The opening screen is straight out of the 1950's. Freedom loving kids out having a good time. Yes it is a bit unplausible to believe he would survive a small yield nuke blast in a refrigerator, but it makes it fun to see him roll out of it and then get the nuclear wash scrub down.
Good story, good characters, but how did Mutt know Indy was on a train? Shia handles himself well with the more accomplished actors. Kate is nearly unrecognizable as the evil Red Commie. Ford looks and plays the part of an older Indy very well. He's still got it! The movie plays well against 50's hysteria about the Commies and UFO's. This is a Genuine popcorn movie. Scfi FI mixes wth archeology quite well in this fun romp. I recommend it to everyone! Worth the wait to see an Indiana Jones movie with my young sons in a theater.

Done Right!!!

Thisis what summer movie blockbusters are about. Wind you up and GO GO GO!!! Robert Downey jr was perfect for this role! Smart aleck one moment, serious the next and then downright distraught with a plan to make it all better. Favreau has far exceeded in bringing this slightly minor Marvel character to full fledged ICON status! Everyone on screen brings in top shelf performances. Bridges is truly evil as Stane. Paltrow believes in Pepper and gives her best in years. Howard has the chops and will get to use them soon enough.

Not Forbidden - Must see!

Many other movies have tried to tell the legend of the Monkey King. This one tops them all. Jackie and Jet are dynamite together! Jackie's best movie in ages! Jet plays equally as well, as the Monk with a secret. It could have been easy to go over the top with it, but Minkoff kept it mostly in check. Angarano kept pace with the stars withhout too much scene chewing. Newcomer, to these shores anyway, Yifei Liu is Gorgeous and we hope to see more of her soon. I had teens and preteens with me and ALL of them thought it was a great time and must see. We are ready to see it again!!
