A Pioneering Film!

The film is so immersing that you feel you've been to Pandora by the time the credits roll.
That alone would be nothing without a solid story, and Avatar has it. I know some reviews cite a "lack" of good story, but I disagree.
The characters are real and archetypal at times, and the story arc is simple and robust. Quite a feat considering the level of effects and visuals.
Cameron had a vision that he stuck to, and every penny was well-spent.
This film makes "Transformers 2" look like a home movie made with a camcorder in someone's back yard!
This movie has sealed James Cameron as a Master of Film. We all thank him for opening up new possibilities for other film-makers and their vision.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
