The traditional story in 3D glory

I loved this story as a child. I was an avid reader. I was worried this would be too over the top but it was fabulous. The 3D was great and the story was very well visualized. The people playing the various characters were all suited to their roles. Love Johnny Depp always. Takes me back to my favorite Depp ...Edward Scissorhands. And Helena Bonham Carter was just fantastic.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Visually Amazing

The story plot is predictable but still compelling. Seeing this at the 3D IMAX theater was well worth driving an hour to get to it. Absolutely stunning visual effects. We felt as if we were in the movie. Action filled. If you are afraid of heights be prepared LOL because you will be falling from things and on the edge of everything through out the movie. I was concerned that it would be just a special effects bonanza but we were drawn in to the story and that just made it that much more amazing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
