I just finished watching "Avatar" in a 3-D IMAX theater. It was very enjoyable. The story is a bunch of liberal hippie, anti-military and anti-America bullsh** and sooo done before (ex. "Dances with Wolves" etc.), but the effects, acting, and 3-D were awesome considering the quantity and the available techonology. James Cameron is going to be one ridiculusly rich man. I love and sympathize with the giant blue smurf-kitties, but no real red-blooded Marine would ever go native like that and kill his brothers and sisters in the USMC. That being said, I still very much enjoyed the movie--just suspend disbelief and go with it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
