This was an incredible movie. It touched on so many issues, both current and historical. If you are someone who enjoys thinking about patterns and trends in history then you will greatly enjoy this movie. I believe this movie had strong ties with Imperialism and Manifest Destiny of Western Society. It also deals with modern warfare, the war on terror, environmentalism, and might is right vs. a more scientific perspective of observe and learn. The characters were a little ridiculous at times, especially the colonel, but it helped get the point across. Finally, the 3d and Special effects were amazing, nothing corny. I highly recommend this movie!
