As far as the animated movies go, I thought it was well made, with a story line that actually flows naturally. It was fun. Go see it with your kids.

It is one of the worst ones I have seen, but your 7 year olds would enjoy it probably.

Sequel-itis

It was enterntaining, yet it suffers from what all sequels do.. It tries hard but falls short. There are a few great moments with talented Hank Azaria; Amy Adams is lovely, but plot is confusing, dialogue runs off the tracks frequently. If you have seen the first one and liked it, then you should see this one too. Otherwise, it's a bit of a let down.
