I really enjoyed this film. A beautifully performed and illustrated story. Newman's music was really wonderful, but WHERE'S THE PRINCESS BALLAD? That is the big sin of this film. There has to be a hummable tune that kids and families leave singing...
Mama Odie is the big winner in this story. I'll sing Dig A Little Deeper all day long!
THE FILM: Enjoyable and visually stunning. Sound effects and 3-D techniques got better as the film went along. Zoe was awesome, and Sam was good though he's got to work on his accent. Ultimately, not a life-changing film, but a fun time this season. James Cameron should NOT write his own scripts. Trite dialogue and obvious situations. Overall, amazing how Cameron and his team put together something that I could only dream of in MY childhood.
THE THEATRE: For $14 per ticket, The Palladium IMAX experience should provide NO obstructed view seats and get back to assigned seating. The first of the year was a nightmare on the seating front... Obviously a ploy to ensure better seating sales. I'm sure there will be complaints...
