Worth watching, especially in 3-D

The 3-D effect is eye-opener, and generally worked well with clean glasses. But new technology must not be over done. For some in the audience it was very in your face. I felt the dimensional depth, especially the heights.
The story made its point, shades of the subduing Native Americans and other primitive cultures, and the capitalistic drive to develop/exploit the world’s resources. Pandora was to perfect, but the message of balance vs. growth should be considered in light of the problems that we are now facing on earth.
The characters were real enough, ranging from warriors on both sides, to spiritual and science oriented personalities. They were very human, and somewhat predictable, although the plot did take some interesting turns.
