I am a 52 year old grandmother and decided to take my 10 & 7 year old grandchildren to see Avatar. I was a little concerned that it would be too long for them....and thought that I wouldn't enjoy it since I am not much of a sci-fi moviegoer.
I was so wrong. The kids were mesmerized and basically didn't even move enough to eat popcorn! And I was thoroughly engrossed in the story line.
It was nothing that I expected and I was totally impressed with the animation and special effects.
Definitely 5 star!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
