This is a well-made, heartwarming but not smarmy, true story about one family who chose to step outside their cultural, economic, racial box and "pay it forward" by helping just one person. Sandra Bullock was her usual great self and not only looked like, but apparently accurately represented the personality of her "real life" character. This is a great movie for the whole family and should start some good conversations about stepping up and helping others in need.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
