Beautiful, If A Little Predictable

This movie looked AMAZING. That being said, the movie was a little light on plot, and definitely in parts a little bit preachy. But overall, I definitely was able to overlook Avatar's imperfections in order to experience a nice (if predictable) plot and likable (if typical) characters that created this beautiful movie's driving forces. I wish there had been a little more emphasis on character development (would have liked to want to root for Sully a tad more) and could have used some fresh plot ideas. But like I said, visually the movie will transport you to a place where you don't mind the slightly lackluster story and players and will move you regardless. Go see it! In the theaters! It's worth seeing it on the big screen!
