The experience of watching this movie in 3D is miserable. The glasses we were provided by the Paladium IMAX theater were smudged by the cleanser being using to "disinfect" them. In spite of my getting up two separate times to wash my glasses with soap and hot water, I viewed this movie through a "tunnel" of smudges. The excuse by the movie theater gave me was they were waiting on their glasses washer. In my opinion this device should have been in place prior to the release of the movie. To add to the irritation, the movie did not appear to be enhanced with many 3D special effects. Unlike Avatar, where the movie is a visual banquet of color and vibrancy, this movie is relatively flat and colorless. If I was making the decision again, I would choose to watch the movie in 2D; I probably would have enjoyed it more had much less irritation and saved money to see it. I look forward to the DVD version of this movie so that I might actually enjoy it.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I viewed this movie two times in 3D and will purchase the DVD as soon as it becomes available. The second time I watched the movie was even better than the first. This movie was amazing because the graphics were stunning! The plot was well though out and easy to follow. Overall this movie deserves10 stars or more! Do yourself a favor, see it as soon as you can!
