I do recommend Avitar. The story is a bit of a cliche. Corporate greed destroying mother earth and the innocent natives who are one with mother earth etc. Single minded military whack job bent on "preemptively" wiping out natives.
But if you put all the usual left-wing propoganda aside, the 3D is at a whole new level, and the blending of people and CGI is seemless. The acting / expressions of some of the animated characters is better than some of the live actors.
The Alien femle lead will appeal to all young men into 9 foot tall vaguely catlike glowing blue women (and who isn't). And almost every creature on the planet is a natural born killer.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
