The plot is too far out there yet the film is enjoyable and worth seeing. Cameron is given the cheezest of lines close to the end, but you can get past it. A movie for those who like to go with it and just let the nearly two hours pass by quickly.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Don't read too many reviews. There are people that are trying to give away things you'll want to discover for yourself. This movie hits several pitch perfect notes. Good story. Good message. Lots to think about after the movie is over. Denzel played the role even better than it was written. Don't wait for the small screen. This deserves to be seen in theater in spite of there not being a lot wizbang CGI eye candy.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
