Exciting science fantasy

Yes, this movie rehashes other plots like Dances With Wolves, but so what? There are no new plots. This story entertains from beginning to end. I could see where it was going to go as soon as I saw Jake couldn't walk and the Avatar could. It didn't spoil the story a bit. The sets were fantastic. The environmental themes are important and timely. One value of science fantasy is its ability to let us experience truth about our own lives because we can see things in a different way. This movie offers us that opportunity. The movie is full of action for the guys, has a love story for the gals, and has a theme of stewardship we should seriously consider. What more can you ask for?
Yes, I recommend this movie.
