Amazing animation, predictable story

This film is a showpiece for the new 3D and CGI technologies. The story itself is uninspiring and predictable, and little time is spent developing characters. Plenty of New Age Mother Earth stuff.
There is absolutely no humor injected to break up the serious sequences. What is worth the ticket price is the attention to detail in the flora and fauna, the colors and uniqueness of the animals, and the truly amazing concepts of Pandora.
