great effects, a little cliche'

The use of a somewhat hackneyed, but tried-and-true story line (spy falls in love with spyee, who is outraged, then forgiving) captures the heart as usual. This does not obscure the underlying, thinly veiled and often rehearsed attack on the imperialist kill-em-all exploiters by the hysterical sky-is-falling environmentalists. Politics! Spare me.
The 3D effects were exraordinary, and the IMAX experience was amazing! A couple of times it seemed like the 3D glasses were dirty (but they weren't), so I guess the technology is not perfect. But when it was near perfect, I was fanning ashes and reaching out to touch the little jellyfish thingies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
