Good, but too much hype

Pros: special effects alone are worth the ticket price; must see in IMAX 3D - I especially liked the fact that they didn't overuse 3D gimmicks like so many 3D movies have in the past; fast paced non-stop action with a feel good ending. Supposed to make Americans, Western civilization in general and now the Chinese feel guilty about what we have done to indigenous peoples everywhere.
Cons: very tired story line (most cowboys & Indians and Star Wars comes to mind) with predictable outcome. Lots of intense violence near the end but hey, it's war. See comment above on indigenous peoples.
Other: You would think that humanity would be just a little better 150 years into the future than we have been over the past 150 years.
