This is, without a doubt, one of the best all-time fantasy films. It's Pocahontas, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings all mixed up together with lots of fantastic creatures, great effects, a nice storyline and a very wonderful message.
I highly recommend this movie and I would lower the rating to PG because it's worth seeing by younger children. I took my 8 year old daughter after watching the movie myself and she was delighted.
Take your kids with confidence. It's worth it.
