This had the same effect on me that Star Wars did when released in the 1970s. A superb movie in every respect - technical, story lines, moral compass, cinematography, computer graphics, you name it. This is a movie that even non-science fiction aficionados can love. I took my 10 year-old grandson and he is still talking about it -- let alone his 42 year old dad. One caution, it simply MUST be seen in 3D.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
