Yes, this movie lacks a bit of originality, but it is by far the best of its kind. If you are not close to tears on multiple occasions in this movie by the moving plot and scenery, you are a ice-cold sad excuse for a sentient being. It's really something that can't quite be described, and I strongly recommend you see it in IMAX, where the visual effects are crippling..
Yes, I recommend this movie.
