I have seen a lot of movies, so the plot and story line are not at all new to me. The 3D IMAX experience is new to me. I would not recommend seeing this on a full stomach, I felt all the movement in the movie. It was like being on a rollercoaster ride. I was still dizzy several hours later! Kids under 12 will definitely enjoy the action and 3D experience, Older kids (I'm 40) won't be as engaged by the movie, but can understand all the hype surrounding the actual making of the movie. Personally, this will not make me want to go see another IMAX 3D movie, but it was definitely an immersive experience.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
