Not the best Disney movie I've seen

After all the hype from my friends, I splurged and bought tickets for myself & my four kids to see it in the theaters. I was very disappointed. I liked the music and the feel of New Orleans, but was very disappointed in the story. There wasn't much of a character arc and even at the end, I felt like poor Tiana ended up with a selfish, conceited prince.The scenes with the voodoo doctor were very dark and some of them even scared my 10 year old. My 2 year old loved the music and danced anytime the crocodile broke out his trumpet. Overall - I felt this movie wasn't worth the $30 I paid for tickets. I'd recommend putting it on your Redbox list rather than fork out the money to see it in the theaters.
