The movie is a thinly veiled social commentary on the events of today, and in terms of the storyline itself there is nothing new. However, given all of that, it is still a pretty good story. it's a love story, but not just romantic love. There is a spiritual love, an environmental love, and a love of life and its endless possibilities. All told with incredibly beautiful detail which enhances the overall experience. Cameron wants us to experience it as if we were there ourselves. It is a wonderful experience; it is a must see in IMAX 3D.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
