Strong story line but 3D was poor

I enjoy films like this; e.g. a mix of science and fantasy with innovative technology and strong visuals. I wasn't disappointed. Its a richly designed and well told story.
The story line is not new; sort of a cross between "Dances with Wolves" & "Star Wars". None the less, well worth the $$ to see. One note: there's more profanity in it than I felt was needed. Consider that for younger kids.
I didn't enjoy the 3D at this theater. The colors were flat and dull and the 3D aspects were weak. Without the glasses the colors where much more vibrant and engaging. I would see this film again but without the 3D.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
