As a Potter fanatic, I was disappointed that not everything in the book made it in to the movie but appreciated the length of the book and accepted the limitations of the cinematic version. Also, as a Potter fanatic, I found it hard to accept the dialogue in the movie that simply could not be found in the book, but despite its deviation from autheticity, the changes were exquiste and worked well in the film genre. Harry, Heromine, and Ron's transition from children to young adults was believeable, and their one liners, especially "I am the Chosen One" were simply hysterical.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
