Great spectacle. I loved the digital animation, the dramatic colors, the outstanding scenery (floating islands, mountains, giant waterfalls). Plot was a little thin and characters tended to be one dimensional, but I found myself emotionally engaged as the film depicted the Avatar being treated much the same way American Indians were treated by the Europeans, except that this time the Indians won.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
