While the 3D glasses did mute a bit of the brightness, it enhanced the movie so much that it wasn't a true issue. Fantastic 3D effects, not nauseating like some of the old ones and the glasses were comfortable and fit over my prescription glasses easily.
Wonderful story line, a bit predictable in some cases but mesmerizing visuals elevated even the ho-hum to extraordinary. The many oblique and pointed references to current issues and trends were food for thought and discussion for hours (and even days) later.
We will look forward to watching this again and again, as there are so many elements that we missed or want clarification on. I advise everyone to see it and come away with your own take on it. It's worth it.
