This is perhaps one of the most visually stunning films that I have ever seen.
The creatures are complete and generally believable, and the special effects crew deserve an Oscar.
I watched the 3D version which enhanced the effect.
Don't worry about the bad image that the corporate exploiters received, just revel in the visual delights of what must be the finest movie of its' genre that I have ever seen.
