Sure, this movie was entertaining, but I really expected more. As with the other movies, it was fairly predictable, and most of the scenes in the previews turned out to be some of the best scenes in the movie.
Somehow, I see another sequel coming up.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I'm very lucky to have been able to see the stage show when it was in my area a few months back. It was *fantastic* and I fell in love with it.
When I went to see this movie this past weekend, I was very disappointed. Contrary to the previous review I read on this site, I felt like they left a *lot* of things out that were in the show, and cut a few things that were necessary to the plot. Because of a few cuts, I was scratching my head thinking, "where is the backstory for this scene? why are they behaving this way?" In the stage production, it made sense, but on the screen it left me thinking, "WTF?"
I would not recommend this movie at full price to a friend. It's great if you've never seen the stage production, but if you have, you'll be disappointed.
