A new standard for movie effects

This was an astonishing movie to watch. There were oohs and ahhs and wows from all over the theater throughout it. From the very first scene it was obvious that Cameron has really upped the ante in special effects. The 3D was really well done and the line between "real" (camera-shot) scenes and totally computer-generated ones was hard to distinguish. The attention to detail was unbelievable; there were dozens of different alien plants and animals, all highly imaginative but still convincing. The story was pretty engaging and had some unflattering but true parallels to our real world. There were really no slow moments to it. I'm going back for sure.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
