The film had a promising atmospheric and stylish opening though I don't like films that start with narration. The dialogue was troublesome and story was very predictable. The editing though stylish left unanswered questions and there was some confusion regarding the daughter who was and wasn't possessed by malevolent angels. She was the only character to be able to be in two places at same time?
The cinematography was beautiful though in places over the top especially the ending sequences which looked like paintings from the Sistine Chapel and we were hit over the head with the Holy Family metaphor.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
