This is an all around excellent movie. Tremendous true portrayal of my Brother Sherlock. His character is true to form. Sir ACD must be proud, wherever he is!
Robert Downey, Jr. is SH incarnate! Wonderful acting on his part as well as the other characters, his esteemed life long friend Dr. Watson, Lestrade and the ladies. Except for the boxing and Blackwood, all the references are true to ACD 50+ short stories, including the reference to "Alice in Wonderland". Choice!
Directing was superb as the music and the story, the writers excelled, even though is a "new" adventure for SH and never written by ACD.
This movie is a MUST SEE! I am eagerly awaiting another adventure, this time with Sherlock's long time nemesis, Professor Moriarty!
