Good movie but lots of hidden stereotypes

The storyline kept your attention, with the action and suspense the characters encountered throughout the movie. The singing was great as it usually is with Disney movies.
My issue with the movie is that all the African American characters had inferior jobs and living environments. I would like to have seen at least one of African Americans in the story to have a high caliber job or a nice home. The prince could not be included as the African American of great stature because his descent (to my recollection) wasn’t confirmed.
Being an African American, I feel that in 2009 these issues were well known to the creators that our young boys and girls, no longer should be portrayed as cooks and housekeepers, and were intentionally overlooked.
