Not much in the way of redemption in this movie. Just sad, pathetic people doing the best with what they have--which isn't much. The chemistry between Clooney and Farmiga is very good--but that's about it for me.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

A Laugh Out Loud

Lawson
Very very funny with poignant notes of truth--the best kind of laughter. Streep, Baldwin, Martin and Krazinski are just delicious in their roles. Nancy Meyers rocks. I'm thinking there is Academy Award somewhere here (even tho comedies don 't often win much of anything).
Yes, I recommend this movie.
