Almost 3 hours I'll never get back

Please note, I didn't see the 3-D version. That said, after all the hoopla I was very disappointed with the movie. The story line was predictable, the dialogue predictable and the ending—you guessed it —predictable. The visuals were beautiful, but didn't overcome the movie's other shortcomings.
I would recommend this for 12 year olds. It will all seem new and wonderful to a young audience.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
