so visually stunning, it works

I was blown away by the visual experience of this movie. I was immersed in it....totally. I felt like I was surrounded by any small floating particles, I became a part of the crowd during heavily peopled scenes, the cgi looked great even upon close scrutiny. Amazing.
The well intentioned, but ham handed messages throughout (killing indigenous people to gain access to precious resources is bad....destroying the earth for the same motivation is also bad)...I agree with the message fully, but it felt like a kindergarten primer on the concept. No matter....the world you are lost in allows you to shut off the inner critic for most of the movie. Pretty much a must see in 3D.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
