a sad movie about a sad man

While this film has several very funny moments, it is basically a predictable sad movie about a sad man. George Clooney plays basically the same character he has played in numerous other movies - George Clooney, though the two women are both rather appealing. Not as good as several other movies showing now and certainly not worth all the attention nor nominations it has been receiving. OK if there is nothing else to see.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
