I'm a big Downey fan and the combination of his acting chops with the subject looked promising to me. I thought he did the best he probably could do but overall the acting seemed a bit forced. Am not a big Law fan but found him somewhat believable and do like McAdams although found her poorly cast and not having enough depth and edge to be believable in possessing a brilliant criminal mind. Great art direction, cinematography, costume & editing but not much character development and seemed like the subject and story was really just a vehicle to lay on as many gratuitous action sequences as possible. Would have liked to have seen more story more finesse and more 3 dimensional characters.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
