Be prepared for a total immersion experience in an alien culture. Sort of a cross between Star Wars (think Ewoks and Jar-Jar Binks) and Pocahontas with a few flying dragons thrown in. In this movie, you will believe in the alien characters more than the human ones with the exception of the female helo pilot (Ana Lucia from Lost). The military leader has no depth (Kill! Kill! Kill!) but the alien Navi make up for that. I've heard it described as a love story and it is that, but there sure are lots of battle sequences to keep the guys happy too.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
