This film is very worthwhile seeing. See it before Hollywood remakes it with Daniel Craig and Cameron Diaz or some such and ruins it. It is spellbinding, violent, mysterious and did I mention spellbinding. Wow!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

After reading the reviews of this"opulent" film and being fans of Tilden Swinton we went to see it. We do no know what the reviewers
saw, but it was not this film. A story that needed chemistry between people had none. A film that needed beautiful photography had none. A waste of talent and time. Alas, should have been done by Ivory/Merchant.
