a disappointment! I could take the ending if the movie and characters logically prepared me for it, but they don't. Jake is unforgiven by a delighted Janie who enjoys her ride with him, gets stoned for a night with a guy she doesn't know, and then apparently decides revenge is her choice. Revenge for what?!? It's too bad the movie doesn't give some reason to justify it. The director seems to have inserted the disappointing ending merely to say that you can't go back and if you've been hurt, you shouldn't try. -- makes you wonder what her life experience is?
