Jeff Bridges does an awesome acting job in Crazy Heart. All of the supporting cast was strong as well. Enjoyed the music and the story line was totally engaging. Treat yourself to a fine movie...

Being a Sir Arthur Conan Doyle fan, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Maybe a bit over the top, but fairly true to the character portrayed in Doyle's books. Great sets and action packed when needed. Robert Downey Jr. really surprised me as he did a superb job as Sherlock. I might note that Jude Law (Dr. Watson) showed some of the indecisiveness that his character displayed in Doyle's stories and I thought he was great. Rachel McAdams played Irene Adler extremely well.
This is not one of your typical Sherlock Holmes black and white movies. If it was, it wouldn't appeal to this generation.
