Red tails is a historical movie which brought the subject of discrimination and prejudice in the armed forces during the German occupation. I thought the movie was done well with great special effects and characters who were true to life. I can relate to this movie in that I am a nurse and actually took care of a Tuskeegee Airman while working at one of the Veterans Hospitals. This gentlemen had lasting problems from frostbite to his feet while flying and was very proud to have served his country. The movie brought tears to my eyes on several occassions while watching. I loved this movie and would give it a thumbs up to anyone who loves the history of world war II.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
