yes, like everyone said the special effects will blow you away. but the story itself is spectacular regardless of what others say. yes, there have been similar stories like dances with wolves, but it lives on because its a timeless story - it left me with a nostaligic feeling, that the way the "savages" were living was the most natural, happiest way to live, and we have completely lost it... but maybe we can get back to it, considering people like james cameron are there to remind us... in his words, "i want to put a flower in every gun barrel, but i do believe in peace through superior firepower" - made me consider the difference between defensive violence and reckless indifferent violence... it will leave you thinking and feeling a lot
Yes, I recommend this movie.
