Wonderful movie, well-acted, very close to original Holmes stories, cannot wait for the next one. Dramatic cinematography, well-acted, well-directed. Kudos to the cast.

Wonderful film for the whole family

3-D version had really nice images, marvelous story lines and acting, good entertainment for the whole family. For younger children, I'd suggest reading the story at home first so they don't become overly frightened when the characters seem threatened. Reep-a-cheep's departure makes for a kind teachable moment about death and loss. Great film, cannot wait for the next one.

Well-acted, well-written, seamless delivery, 2.5 hours just flew by. The adults are stellar, as always, and the young people have grown into good young actors. Highly recommend this movie.
