Modern Take on a Classic

While not a good choice for a Holmes purist, the movie is overall fun. Having both Holmes and Watson take a much more physical approach is definitely not traditional. Holmes retains his powers of deduction although Downey, Jr., strays far afield from the Rathbone version. Jude Law presents a stronger Watson not in keeping with tradition. Dare I call this the "Rambo" version of Sherlock Holmes?
Yes, I recommend this movie.
