I have not been this offended at a movie in a long time. White guy comes in, becomes a better native than the natives, and saves the Africans and Native Americans--uh, I mean Na'vi--from the bad guys. A colonizers fantasy of redemption. And violence indulgence to boot. I felt gross after this film. How has no one noticed this? Let's just call it "Dancing with Dragons." I did like the astonishing effects and landscapes (that's why I gave it one star) but to what effect?
No, I do not recommend this movie.
