If you like great acting...

This movie just doesn't live up to the hype! The acting and filming are superb, otherwise I would have rated it a two-star film. The story line, however, is so trite and colonial that I found myself criticizing it more than simply enjoying a good flick. Blind Side is heartwarming, in a sense, but really no more than yet another take on the traditional great white Christian savior leading a poor, dumb Other to a better life.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
